Auditing Services

We have provided financial statement audits and reviews to our clients for over 20 years.  Our audit experience encompasses a myriad of entities, including contractors, schools, cities, towns, villages, municipalities, churches, and other types of not-for-profit entities.

  • Each audit we provide is specifically tailored to your objectives and needs.  The audit is intended to assist you in presenting financial information to the users of your financial statements.
  • We review your internal accounting controls to identify opportunities to minimize the risk of errors and irregularities.  We may recognize an opportunity to increase revenue, cash flow, and the bottom line.
  • We also prepare a comparative performance evaluation of the organization.  The report outlines and explains key areas, together with recommendations on how you may make improvements or reduce expenditures.  The report uses ratio analysis, industry comparisons, and trend analysis to depict the financial health of your company.  This report is prepared for you at no extra cost.

Our firm works closely with our clients to provide advice and the financial tools that help you make management decisions proactively.  Our audit and review services complement the tax services and advice we provide so you have comprehensive solutions.

How we add value to your audit

A key benefit we provide when doing an audit is that at completion of the audit our firm will provide you with additional insight into the operation of your organization.

As part of our audit procedures we document, review, test, and evaluate each transaction cycle.  This evaluation is a “risk assessment.”  It is done for the areas of your organization that we covered during the audit.  Why not take advantage of such scrutiny?  This risk assessment can be used by management and boards to develop more efficient control procedures.  We will meet with the board to review our recommendations.

If you are considering an audit or thinking of changing audit firms, give us a call.  We will be happy to discuss the possibilities of working together and will provide you with a proposal and estimate for our services.
